Blue Tits in Gorse

Today I had a rare, right place-right time moment with a couple of delightful blue tits as they foraged in a vibrant gorse bush. I could easily have walked straight past them, mistaking their yellow chests for the yellow gorse flowers if their twittering calls hadn’t revealed their presence.

It was tricky to capture these images through the dense foliage, but with a little patience they would move into these clearings and I could take the below shots that I am quite proud of.

These images were captured in the grounds of Aberystwyth Arts Centre, just a few meters from a busy cafe,  proving that there is beauty in nature to be found everywhere, even in the most unlikely of places!
