To get to the other side of course…
There was little around to photograph today, with just one lone Jackdaw making an appearance. The morning was still and quiet, with diffuse light breaking through a thin layer of cloud creating a soft, blue glow over the landscape.
From my low vantage point I was able to get some pleasing shots of the jackdaw as it wandered across the tarmac in search of tiny pieces of food that may be caught in the cracks.
Jackdaws are an urban success story, their intelligence and adaptability making them just as at home in this concrete jungle as in their natural woodland habitat.
